General Engineering

At Roberts Engineering we provide practical solutions for all your engineering requirements. We offer a range of welding techniques including Arc, Metal Inert Gas (Mig) and Tungsten Inert Gas (Tig) to meet your industry requirements.

We offer advice and support to provide the techniques best suited to each individual project, and we welcome the opportunity to provide proven solutions for a wide variety of projects.

Arc Welding

The process of Arc Welding is the creation of an electric arc between an electrode and the base materials, melting the metals at the point of contact. We are able to work using a direct or alternating current, and consumable and non-consumable electrodes.

Mig Welding

The process of Mig Welding involves arc welding where continuous and consumable wire electrode and shielding gas are fed through a welding gun. This process can be semi-automatic or automatic to suit that nature of the weld.

Tig Welding

The process of Tig Welding uses a non-consumable Tungsten Electrode to produce the weld, as an alternate, specialist method of Arc Welding.

We specialise in:

  • Milling
  • Lathing
  • Drilling
  • Welding
  • Laser cutting
  • Profile cutting
  • Painting
  • Sheet metal work
